Mission 

The Ocean Beach Planning Board is  recognized by

the City of San Diego as the  primary advisory group

for land use and  land development issues in the Ocean

Beach community.

An urbanized coastal community containing 742

acres within its approximately one square mile                                                

planning area. The Ocean Beach Planning area

is bounded by the San Diego River to the north,

the Pacific Ocean to the west, Froude Street and

West Point Loma Boulevard on the east, and Adair

Street to the south.
